We (Dr Amal Abuzeinab and Dr Kyungeun Sung from De Montfort University, UK) organised the 3rd (and final) Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) workshop in person to identify key global challenges and opportunities for scaling up upcycling businesses in the world at the Product Lifetimes And The Environment (PLATE) 2023 Conference at Aalto University in Espoo, Finland on Friday 2nd June, 2023 (1.30-3.00 PM for 1.5 hours). The workshop presentation slides can be found here. Deepti Mahajan (from Nottingham Trent University, UK) kindly helped the workshop as the 2nd note taker. Seven people (4 females and 3 males; 5 academics and 2 researchers) participated from Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Sweden, and UK. This workshop outcome will validate our preliminary analysis of the two online ISM workshops.
